Become a Volunteer

Morris County Historical Society’s projects, programs, and activities would not be possible without the time and talents of our volunteers. A diverse group of people who give tours of Acorn Hall and assist behind the scenes, our volunteers range in age from college students to senior citizens. Some give time weekly, some monthly, and some just a few times a year for special events. We tailor the opportunities to each individual to ensure the best fit.

Come join us! If you are interested in volunteering, send a completed application form to MCHSAcornHall@gmail.com

Become an Intern

Morris County Historical Society is a great place to gain exposure to the diverse world of small museums. We offer internships for local college and masters students in the areas of collections and archives management.

Internships are unpaid, but we do support documentation necessary to receive college credits. If you’re a current student looking for a semester packed with the varied opportunities inherent in a small workplace, tell us a little about yourself. Send a completed application form, resume, and cover letter to MCHSAcornHall@gmail.com
