Dogwoods, Oaks & Maples: Executing a Landscape Plan

In 2018, MCHS had a landscape plan created that took into account Acorn Hall’s country setting, newly-ascertained original paint colors, and the likely influence of noted landscape architect Andrew Jackson Downing on the property’s original design. Learn more about how MCHS’s execution of the plan over the last four years to bring a more historically accurate aesthetic back to our grounds.
Outdoor program. $7 for non-members ($5 for members) and $10 to include a tour of Acorn Hall.
