MCHS will be closed for tours Sunday, October 8th. Acorn Hall and our current exhibit, The Cutting Edge: Medicine in Morris County, 1876-1976, will reopen for tours on Wednesday, October 11th.

Acorn Hall and Morris County Historical Society’s exhibit galleries  are open to the public Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays or by appointment.

Visitors wishing only to view MCHS exhibit galleries pay half price admission.  The Gallery Gift Shop is open during regular office hours. Holiday schedules may vary and advance booking is advisable.

The Gardens

The gardens at Acorn Hall are open to the public from dawn until dusk. Access to the Patriot’s Path trail starts to the east of the Carriage House which is behind the Hall.

MCHS offices are open Monday–Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM.
